After graduating in law from the University of Bern in 1953, at just 23 years old, Tito Tettamanti began his legal career and was admitted to the bar in 1955. He collaborates with our Law Firm as an Of Counsel.
He speaks Italian, German, French, and English fluently.
In 1959, he founded the law and notarial firm Tettamanti-Spiess-Dotta, followed the next year by the fiduciary company Fidinam SA, originally established to support the law and notarial firm in question. Fidinam SA went on to become one of Switzerland’s leading fiduciary firms. He held the position of Chief Executive Officer for 25 years and currently serves as honorary president.
He also held the position of chairman — and subsequently the one of honorary chairman — of Sterling Strategic Value Limited, which became in 2017 Sterling Strategic Value Fund S.A., a Luxembourg-based fund of which he still holds the honorary chairmanship.
He frequently participates in conferences, public debates, and television and radio programs. A passionate and thorough scholar of international political, cultural, and economic balances, he has authored numerous publications and regularly contributes as an opinion writer for Corriere del Ticino and Die Zeit, often addressing socio-economic topics.
